3dMD can provide two levels of customization. Our standard systems are built on a modular basis and using the 3dMDflex package a wide range of specialist 3D scanning rigs can be implemented often allowing full reconfiguration in just minutes through 3dMD’s simple calibration technique.

In some cases a more specialized design is required. 3dMD can offer a complete design and implementation service where your requirement is for a one-off application or the prototype for production of a mass produced device.

We established our delivery methodology to create a manifestation of our customer’s vision to exploit the use of 3D human images. To ensure that you keep your project on time and on budget, our team has created a best practices delivery methodology that leverages our existing core technologies and expertise, as well as enabling you to best leverage your internal staff and partners. Our proven five-step methodology outlines project phases, milestones, and deliverables.

Project evaluation: Once we understand your business objectives and project needs, our Services team takes your team through a comprehensive questionnaire that thoroughly explores all of your 3D requirements. Together, we identify and document needed hardware capture and software application specifics, integration requirements, environmental and user interface conditions, installation factors, design and operator requirements, etc.

Delivery Blueprint: We create a blue print that guides everyone through the implementation. Together, we will determine milestones, deliverables, and set expectations regarding each other’s roles and responsibilities during the process.

Customization: The hardware is configured; the software is designed from a full range of well-proven processing and analysis tools; the system is integrated to third-party software packages; and the unit is designed to meet environmental requirements.

Deployment: This step incorporates final testing, installation on-site, and definition of post-deployment support and education requirements. Even though knowledge transfer in constant through out the process, comprehensive customer training takes place at this stage.
