2006

  • David Hatcher, DDS, MS and William Harrell, DMD join 3dMD's advisory board
  • 3dMD launched the latest generation 3dMDtorso System at ASPS meeting in San Francisco
  • Kodak and 3dMD form a strategic alliance for the orthodontic and oral/maxillofacial surgery markets in North America and Australia
  • 3dMD inc announced the general release of the Arnett 3D Treatment Planning Software Module at the Sixth Annual Advanced Orthognathic Surgery Foundation Meeting in Santa Barbara. The latest module for 3dMDpatient is a direct result of close cooperation with G William Arnett, DDS, FACD.
2005
  • Due to growth, 3dMD relocated the Atlanta-based R&D team to a larger facility.
  • 3dMDpatient™ v.3.0 was released and 3dMD has received significant positive feedback from our prestigious clinical user base that has been very instrumental in helping us specify and validate these functionality updates.
  • Delivered and commissioned 4D motion capture version of the 3dMDface System to 3dMD customer Cardiff University
2004
  • Delivered laptop version of the 3dMDface System as a second system to the US National Institutes of Health (NIH/NIDCR)
  • Officially relaunched 3dMD in Europe at the XVII Congress of the European Association for Cranio & Maxillofacial Surgery in Tours, France
  • 3dMD launched latest generation 3dMDcranial System (360-degree head scanner)
  • Officially launched 3dMD in SE Asia and Australia at the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons conference in Melbourne
  • Signed first Australian customer - Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne
  • Signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Orthovisage for its morphometric analysis software, MorphoStudio
2003
  • The company delivered next generation custom technology to Walt Disney Feature Animation
  • The company transitioned Research & Development from the UK to the US
2002
  • 3dMD launched third generation 3dMDface System for healthcare professionals at the 2002 American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons in Chicago
  • The company demonstrated its technology capturing 30 frames per second at SIGGRAPH
  • 3Q Technologies Ltd. acquired the entire business and exclusive rights to all the intellectual property of TCT international (formerly Tricorder plc). The transaction also included the healthcare focused subsidiary, 3dMD LLC and the US entertainment subsidiary 3Q inc.
