Automated three-dimensional analysis of facial asymmetry in patients with syndromic coronal synostosis: A retrospective study. TM Choi, X Liu, T Abdel-Alim, ML van Veelen, IMJ Mathijssen, EB Wolvius, GV Roshchupkin.

101 patients from 2005 to 2022 were selected for inclusion according to the following criteria: diagnosis molecularly confirmed; were of Caucasian descent; had only premature fusion of left and/or right coronal suture(s); had undergone only one craniofacial surgery; were younger than 18 years; had undergone no orthodontic treatment; had no extraction of permanent teeth; and had not undergone maxillary osteotomy.

Deformation of palmar hand measurements in a power grip by wrist ulnar/radial deviation. H Jung, W Lee, S Moon, H You.

The hand at a straight neutral posture was scanned using the 3dMDhand system. Next, the hand was scanned while in a power grip at each of three wrist postures (20° of radial deviation, neutral, and 30° of ulnar deviation), along with the corresponding palmar hand cast.

Next-Generation Custom-Fit Reusable Respiratory Protective Device with Continuous Fit Monitoring. S Park, Y Tian, M Bergman, Dr. Ziqing Zhuang, J Pollard, S Jayaraman.

As the first step in customizing the prototype, a set of 21 facial anthropometric landmarks and 15 dimensions was selected for the design. The faces of three members of the research team were scanned using a 3dMD digital scanning system. From these scans, algorithms were developed to create digital representations of the contours of the RPD frame.
